We have to halt it with the prednisone, tapering off over nine days total, and then her regular medicines can work better. She has been tripping and falling more and losing her balance when she bends down. She's also doing more toe walking to offset the pain. Feels like we've lost so much ground and as much as I hate prednisone, I am grateful there is something they can do.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12741646073555849828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814114731786461812.post-29799927036206848032013-08-20T14:22:32.906-04:002013-08-20T14:22:32.906-04:00I have a special time set aside for prayer in the ...I have a special time set aside for prayer in the early morning before the children wake up, but I find myself praying throughout the day, too. Wow - I am a very needy person, I admit it. :)
Much love to you my friend. And Beth's card should be there any day!

Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13273301456471935137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814114731786461812.post-48492285779090496522013-08-20T11:58:10.795-04:002013-08-20T11:58:10.795-04:00The nursing is so perfect, almost as though God in...The nursing is so perfect, almost as though God intended it to be a rest and prayer time for Mom. The hormones released while we do it calm us down, too.

I remember that insomnia! I had it badly the first trimester. Praying for grace to shower you! How many weeks do you have left?Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12741646073555849828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814114731786461812.post-5868188450325436002013-08-20T11:47:21.564-04:002013-08-20T11:47:21.564-04:00Great post and I totally agree. Lately with pregnancy insomnia early mornings are impossible. I have been praying at night when I lay down with the two little ones. They love to fall asleep to me praying out loud in hushed tones. SO my prayer time is in the evening but I do say a few word of prayer before I step out of bed. With all our travel I am off schedule and I am happy to be returning to the comfort of a consistent schedule. We started school yesterday so I am in the middle of making a day plan I will be sure to take this good advice and schedule in small prayer times through the day, even if it is 5 minutes, pulse I will be nursing soon:)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14497636907002853665noreply@blogger.com
