busted!

Sweet Mary.

Busted!  She loves containers of crayons and pencils--and especially sticking pencils in the pencil sharpener.

Oh, no.  Not the wall!

Did I ever tell you he talks incessantly?  I had to take a picture mid-sentence!

Busted! We bake a whole chicken once a week.  My kids snack on chicken as though it were scrumptious cookies.  Big sister got the container out of the fridge, and the next I know this one is diggin' in.

Re: what you said about the whole family having ADHD, I am suspecting more and more that my mom had it, and most if not all of my siblings did too. That would be 7 ADHDers in one house. To say it was a mess would be to say the Andes are big.

All things considered, I'd say you're coping quite well.

Love the kids snacking on the chicken, btw.

Evenspor,

There are advantages to ADHD, as you've written. My oldest, the only one officially diagnosed, hyperfocused on computers enough to learn how to post pictures for me. He likes clicking on my blog and seeing the pictures.

He knows more about computers now than I do, practically speaking. My husband taught both boys a lot as he's gone through these computer classes.

My younger son is forgetful and forgets to put on his underwear even, but focuses on academics very well. The older one is rarely forgetful (impulsive/hyperactive type, contrasted with the younger one's inattentive type.)

Oh, well! When lives gives lemons (in the form of chronic conditions) we have to make that lemonade!
